Korres Lip Butters

I have quite the infatuation with Korres Lip Butters. The makeup company originates from Greece. I discovered them 3 years ago per the recommendation of YouTube beauty guru, MakeupByTiffanyD, and have been in love ever since. They are super hydrating with a sheer dose of color and lots of pretty shine. They all contain shea butter which is ultra hydrating and have delicious scents that make you want to lick them off your lips. Better yet, they are supposed to be all-natural . . . so, I guess if you really wanted to eat them, you could. I love them so much that I own every color they have released. My favorite is "Jasmine" because it smells like warm caramel. I guess the names are not accurate descriptions of the smells, but that would truly be the only criticism I could find with these awesome lip balms! Check out the swatches below.

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara Review

I wanted to love this mascara because I tend to love many of the L'Oreal mascaras, but I found this latest launch from the company to be mediocre at best. Below is my list of pros & cons as well as pictures of it applied on my lashes. Let me know if you tried this mascara and liked it.

Pros:

• Elegant, sleek packaging
• Small brush allows you to draw out every lash with mascara
• Formula in color "Blackest Black" goes on as black as the description states.
• Holds curl well
• Formula did not clump with 2 coats.

Cons:

• Rubber bristle brush - not a fan. I don't feel like it applies the mascara evenly.
• Formula FLAKED and smudged throughout the day with just 2 coats
• Did not build much volume
• Lengthened lashes just okay. It could have provided more length, considering that is its claim to fame.

Overall Rating: 5 out of 10

A big con for me is the fact that this mascara flaked so much throughout the day. It is enough of a reason for me not to use it.

My left eye (your right) has one coat of Lancome Definicils Mascara and one coat of L'Oreal Shocking Extension  Mascara over it.
