I wanted to love this mascara because I tend to love many of the L'Oreal mascaras, but I found this latest launch from the company to be mediocre at best. Below is my list of pros & cons as well as pictures of it applied on my lashes. Let me know if you tried this mascara and liked it.
Pros:
- Elegant, sleek packaging
- Small brush allows you to draw out every lash with mascara
- Formula in color "Blackest Black" goes on as black as the description states.
- Holds curl well
- Formula did not clump with 2 coats.
Cons:
- Rubber bristle brush - not a fan. I don't feel like it applies the mascara evenly.
- Formula FLAKED and smudged throughout the day with just 2 coats
- Did not build much volume
- Lengthened lashes just okay. It could have provided more length, considering that is its claim to fame.
Overall Rating: 5 out of 10
A big con for me is the fact that this mascara flaked so much throughout the day. It is enough of a reason for me not to use it.

My right eye (your left) has two coats of L'Oreal Shocking Extension Mascara
My left eye (your right) has one coat of Lancome Definicils Mascara and one coat of L'Oreal Shocking Extension Mascara over it.
